ACS Motor Controller

The ACS motor control from Inmotion Technologies is built on 25 years of experience since the first AC motor controls were introduced. At Regal, we have been developing electric drive systems based on ACS for over a decade. Much of the functionality needed to quickly develop a new system is already prepared in our software library.

We know that no two applications are alike. Therefore, we offer full flexibility in our platform and can customize everything from operating characteristics to efficiency map to CANopen and J1939 protocols. Thanks to various I/O options, functionality can also include signals from pressure sensors, position sensors, and joysticks. Valve control and other loads can be easily managed directly from the ACS unit.

ACS is specifically designed for electric drive traction, electro-hydraulic pump, and generator applications. Its robust design and IP65 enclosure make it an excellent choice for various types of electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and electro-hydraulic applications.

Our software platform is proven and robust. Quality is ensured through development and review processes according to Automotive SPICE® and ISO 13849-1. Together with redundant hardware, this enables ACS to be used for category 3 solutions up to PLd.
