Type-approved Pressure Switches
We offer Trafag pressure switches with mechanical and electrical switches, available in various designs, with or without display indicators, and with various switching capabilities, among other options. There are also EX-rated models and models with marine type approvals. The pressure switches are designed to control pressures using a straightforward on/off electrical switch.
The mechanical switches use three different technologies: bellows, membrane, and piston.
Piston
- Ideal for hydraulic systems
- Suitable for a high number of switching operations
- Resistant to abrupt pressure changes
- For pressures up to 600 bar and are resistant to overpressure
Metal Bellows
- Sensitive pressure control of liquids, vapours and gases
- Suitable for low to medium pressures where small switching differentials are desired.
Membrane
- Measurement of liquids, vapours and gases
- For pressures up to 100 bar
- Suitable for a high number of switching operations
- Resistant to abrupt pressure changes resistant to overpressure
