Pressure Transmitter NAE 8256

The NAE 8256 features an extremely robust and stable thin-film-on-steel sensor element that is well-proven and known for its long-term stability. The NAE 8256 shares its compact housing with the other pressure transmitters in the NAx series, making NAE one of the smallest pressure transmitters of its kind with ship approvals.

The NAE 8256 was upgraded in 2021 and now also features switching outputs with 1 or 2 PNP outputs as an option. The switching outputs can be configured from the factory with custom switch points, reset points, and delay settings, as well as NO or NC settings. Parametrization can also be done with an SMI Sensor Master Interface together with a smartphone app (Android).

The new NAE also has a wider pressure range, starting at 0…0.2 up to 0…700 bar.
The pressure transmitter has a DNV EU RO Mutual Recognition Type Approval Certificate.

Set parameters

Sensor Master Interface

NAE switch parameters such as switching points, output function and switching delay time can be set with the Sensor Master Interface SMI and an Android app. By reading the device data, the connected pressure measurement device can be precisely identified and the parameters can be checked.
