Our History

1982
Heneco Scandinavian AB, JOAG Electronics AB and Swedish Thrige-Titan / Thrige Electric founded.

1985
Operations of all three companies moved to Fyrislund in Uppsala, Sweden. The same lot as we are based today.

1992
Regal Components AB was founded by takeover of operations in Heneco and JOAG.

Cylinder sensor PS6300 is released.

Mid 90s
Delivery of the first drive units and electric drive system for indoor use.

1998
Regal Components acquire Swedish Thrige-Titan / Thrige Electric.

2002
Cylinder sensor RCL is released and trademark Regasense registered.

2008
Regal Components and Trafag AG enter a partnership.

2010
Start of production of cylinder sensor PS6500.

2015
Electric drive systems for outdoor use are launched.

2019
The trademark Regamotion is registered for our electric drive systems.

2022
Becomes part of Axel Johnson International’s business group Driveline Solutions.

2024
Cylinder sensor RSL51 is released.
