For higher continuous power, the TDS series is also available in a water-cooled version for long operation and high loads.

Generator Capability
Like all Vogel & Plötscher motors, the TDS 172FA can be used as a generator and supports energy recuperation. Every motor includes an integrated encoder and temperature sensor as standard.
Optional gearboxes allow the motor to be matched to specific operating conditions. The TDS 172FA is also available with an optional holding brake and a compatible motor controller for a complete drive solution.
