Regal has donated to Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen to help more young students in Sweden complete compulsory school and continue to upper secondary education with greater confidence in their future.

In Sweden, factors such as where you grow up and your parents’ level of education still have a major impact on your chances of qualifying for upper secondary school. Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen works to counter this by offering a targeted homework support programme for lower secondary students who are at risk of not passing school.

The programme is free of charge for students, focuses on schools that are below the national average for upper secondary school eligibility, and supports students who have, or are at risk of receiving, an F grade (failed grade) in at least one core subject. Teaching is carried out in small groups where tutors and students set individual goals and work systematically towards passing grades and increased motivation to study.

Since its inception in 2007, thousands of students have completed compulsory school with the support of Läxhjälpen.

At Regal, we share Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen’s vision: that all children and young people should have the conditions they need to succeed in school and shape their own future.
